Aside from tutoring over 2000 lessons online to a range of GCSE and A-level Geography students over the years- many of whom have gone on to study at their top choice universities- I have also worked teaching and tutoring adults and children in Canada, Mexico, Israel, China, and the UK in a range of contexts. I have been an Outdoor Educator in Hong Kong and have mentored Master’s students in Canada. I have worked on inspiring youth through environmental projects and in traditional school settings. 

I was brought up in the UK where I completed 11 GCSEs all at A and A* levels. I then completed the IB Diploma in Hong Kong, after which I moved to BC, Canada to complete a BSc with distinction in Environmental Sciences and Geography. I was involved in different editing and writing platforms as well as managing different environmental projects on campus. I am passionate about outdoor sports and have been lucky to enjoy multi-day kayaking, hiking, climbing, and surfing trips all over the world.

After completing a BSc with Distinction in Environmental Sciences and Geography, with specialisation in Ethnobotany, Indigenous Studies, Fieldwork Techniques, and GIS systems, I have continued pursuing my enthusiasm for learning about the natural world. I am a certified Rescue Diver and freediver, with over 12 years of experience diving around the world and observing marine life. I am fascinated by ocean ecosystems and different coastal planning objectives worldwide. I have a Permaculture Design Certificate, received during my studies in Canada whilst working on an organic farmstead. 

I aim to create engaging, dynamic learning environments tailored to the needs of each individual. I look to excel student understanding through combining my knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm. I want students to feel comfortable and empowered to continue learning and achieving their goals in all areas of life. I look to work with students to create a collaborative experience where they can take pride and ownership of their learning experience. Lessons are engaging, with lots of discussions, Q&A, and a range of different tools and techniques to allow students to expand their knowledge, and working memory and see their grades and engagement improve.
