Hi!

My name is Yunis and I am a qualified doctor from King's College London, and a graduate from Imperial College London in Medical Sciences with Management. After achieving 12 A*s at GCSE and 3 A*s at A-Level, I began tutoring GCSE and A-Level Maths and Science. Throughout medical school, I developed a passion for trying to explain scientific concepts simply, which is not only necessary for our patients, but for our students as well! Over the last 5 years, I have been fulfilled by tutoring students from KS3 all the way up to the final year of Medical School!

I like asking questions that involve drawing information from multiple different parts of the specification, and I thoroughly recommend students ask as many questions as they can. I think a good back and forth discussion about our respective understandings of a topic allow us to identify gaps in knowledge, and address previous misconceptions that students may have, allowing us to start framing our answers as we would write them down in an exam (and get marks!). It is ideal for students to ask "why?" and "how?" questions about science!
