I am a Creative Writing MA graduate with a BA in English Literature. I believe my education and passion for literature has inspired my fascination with tutoring. I am dedicated to establishing an educational environment that not only nurtures curiosity, but also cultivates a space where diverse perspectives thrive. I am keen to instil confidence, curiosity and a love of learning in my students. I have expierience in tutoring primary, secondary and GCSE in English Literature and Language.

First, it is essential to assess the student's proficiency and familiarity with the literature they are studying, whether it be books, plays, or poetry. I will engage them in discussions regarding the characters, plot, and narrative to gauge their understanding. Based on this assessment, I will design comprehensive lesson plans that address their learning needs and include sample exam questions and model answers. For GCSE and A Level students, particular emphasis will be placed on exam preparation and enhancing essay-writing skills. I will consult the relevant exam board specifications to tailor my teaching method to align with their academic requirements.
