I am a passionate and professional classroom-based teacher specialising in Maths for pupils in Norwich and further afield. Alongside my qualifications, including a Distinction in Global Ethics and Human Values from King's College, London, and an A* in GCSE Maths (2005), an A at A-Level Maths (2007), I bring a well-rounded perspective to teaching.

In my early career I gained valuable experience teaching English as a Foreign Language in diverse settings across South East Asia, sharpening my ability to cater to the unique needs of students from various backgrounds. As a Maths specialist, I possess the skill to simplify complex concepts, creating an accessible and enjoyable learning environment for all students.

In addition to my academic pursuits, I have a love for several hobbies that enhance my teaching approach. When I'm not tutoring, you can find me playing football, enjoying the teamwork that the sport offers. I also enjoy hill walking. Furthermore, I have a passion for travel, exploring different cultures and perspectives, which adds depth to my teaching style.

With over 9 years of teaching and tutoring experience in London and Norfolk, I have a strong track record of success. I have taught students at various academic levels, including KS3, GCSE, and A-Level, in state and private schools. Many of my former pupils have been admitted to prestigious universities like Oxbridge and Russell Group institutions.

As a full time teacher I am busy on weekdays in the daytime but I am available in the evenings for tutoring sessions.

Each lesson is customized to meet the specific needs of the learner, while my overarching aim is to inspire curiosity and foster interest. I break down complex topics into manageable sections and extend learning through engaging activities. Mini quizzes provide formative feedback, allowing students to track their progress effectively.

My tutoring sessions follow a structured approach, incorporating starter activities, clear explanations, illustrative examples, interactive tasks, and immediate personalized feedback. This comprehensive methodology aims to create an enriching learning experience that not only helps students understand the material but also ignites their passion for the subject.
