As a qualified teacher of Mathematics for nearly two decades, I have successfully helped students to go on and study at Oxbridge by helping them achieve the top grades in A level Maths and Further Maths as well as supporting them with university admission tests. Equally I have enjoyed helping students who may be struggling and need support to achieve a grade 4 or above in GCSE maths. They may well be the first in their family to attend university or they may want to go onto an apprenticeship. 

Exam papers are important but equally important is understanding the underlying principles involved in answering the question. My teaching style is to analyse your current understanding. I will then help you see the underlying mathematical principle. This may involve additional knowledge or it maybe just adjusting your own thinking. Using this technique will help you solve more problems even those you have not seen before. I look forward to helping you to develop your learning and for you to see real progress in your learning journey.
