We found Ruth quite late in the day and sadly she was already very booked up so could only manage a few ad hoc lessons. She did her best to fit my daughter in when she could. My daughter (Y11) found her sessions with Ruth immensely helpful leading up to her GCSEs. She also really liked Ruth and found her not only to be an excellent tutor, but also caring and understanding. 
I would highly recommend, but book in early!

Ruth has been tutoring our son, Thomas, for nine months in the lead up to his GCSE English exams.  Ruth really understood Thomas and his learning needs, being extremely positive and with such a calm and encouraging approach to help bring out the best in his work. go thru the igcse aqa first language english paper for me very effectively. provided and illustrated a great framework for me to answer the Qs. offered many mnemonics for me to navigate thru and help me consolidate what I know and what I need to present in the exam. very effective. many thanks!

Amazing tutor, understands the mark scheme and criteria of the exam board with thorough detail and explains everything methodically and with academic detail. Would definitely recommend if you would like a grade 9 at english GCSE!
