Hi, I’m Nia! I hold a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering and have five years of tutoring experience in Maths and Sciences. I’ve had the pleasure of working with many GCSE and A-level students, helping them achieve significant academic improvements. Last year, all of my A-level students met or exceeded their predicted grades and received offers from their first-choice universities.

My tutoring approach is completely personalized, tailored to each student’s unique needs and academic goals. I aim to make the learning enjoyable, supporting students as they strengthen their skills and gain confidence in challenging subjects. I’m friendly, approachable, and genuinely passionate about helping students succeed. In my spare time, I enjoy fitness, playing the piano and art!

Mathematics and Sciences can be hard subjects but I ensure that each lesson is fun, beneficial and tailored towards your style of learning. In our first session, I assess the student’s current level and identify areas for improvement. Together, we’ll work through challenging topics; focusing on theory, exam technique, and plenty of practice questions. My sessions are interactive, designed to build critical-thinking skills and inspire confidence.

For students who benefit from extra practice, I assign targeted homework and encourage consistent revision, including past paper practice. I’m also available outside of sessions to answer any questions and mark any work, and I regularly ask for feedback to ensure I’m providing the best possible learning experience.
