Hi! Thanks for checking out my profile. I am a medical student offering tuition in GCSE Biology. I achieved a 9 in Biology at GCSE and A* at A-levels. Teaching is one of my passions and I have been tutoring since 2022. I find science fascinating, especially understanding how the human body works and what causes disease. I enjoy sharing my passion of science through tutoring! 

In my lessons I ensure that my student has a solid understanding of the foundations of the subject and I support the building of knowledge from there. My lessons are interactive and we will go through exam questions together as well as covering topics the student may want more support in. 

I have availabilty on Saturdays from 10:30am to 1:30pm and Wednesdays from 3:30pm to 6:30pm.

As each student is unique, my approach to teaching is tailored to the student. I will first ensure the student feels confident in the foundations of biology, such as cell biology and enzymes. Then we will build up knowledge in other GCSE Biology topics. My lessons are interactive and involve questions and quizzes. In the lesson I will give explanations of topics that the student would like to cover and we will tackle exam questions together. I believe applying knowledge is a great way to consolidate information which is why I am keen to go over personalised practice questions in the lesson. I will support the student in learning how to break down a question and write a great answer. I set homework and will give personalised feedback for the student. I will also share my tips on exams and revision that I have picked up as my time as a student that helped me achieve my grades.
