Professional teaching (GS Academy): In charge of 6 classes every two weeks, A-level and GCSE, for Maths, Economics and Business. Economics: Economics is all about the way you articulate and phrase your chain of reasoning and ensure you satisfy the assessment criteria. The focus will be on making sure the student is confident with the content, the graphs and exam technique for longer answers. Having received full marks in my Economics A-level, I have perfected an essay technique for my tutees which has worked well for all. I have also created a lot of helpful documents, which contain all the diagrams and theories summarised, to ease revision.

Maths: Focus is on method and practice here. Breaking down the hard content into simpler more digestible steps, that can be used to solve any question in each topic. The sessions would go through the syllabus, where I would explain the intuition behind each topic, do a few examples, then set new unseen questions to the student. At which point I implore a 3 question rule, the design of the 3 questions (ranging difficulty) if answered correctly guarantees solid understanding. If any are wrong it is easy tp identify where the weak point is. Then I issue 3 new questions until all 3 are answered correctly.

Business: Business is about three core principles. The jargon/theory, calculations and written technique. Once these 3 are perfected, success can be guaranteed. The sessions will focus on ensuring knowledge and understanding are solid, which is the foundation. This would be done by going through the syllabus, and through the assigned book. The calculations will be explained thoroughly and then tested. Students will be given handouts that summarise all the theories they need to know, as well as a step by step explanation for calculations. As for written technique, I have developed a full-proof structure that has been used by many students to ensure your answer is always in the top bracket, this can be replicated for all long mark questions.
