Hello, my name is Mohammed and I am currently studying Medicine (MBBS) at Kings College London (KCL). Medicine is a subject I am extremely fascinated by because of its uniqueness. For example, the privilege of interacting with people with the aim of enhancing their health and the study of the human body supplemented by dissection sessions. Additionally, the concept of medicine being a life-long process of both learning and teaching intrigues me to pursue this career as a doctor. 

I enjoy tutoring as it provides me with an opportunity to share my experiences during my A-level and GCSE studies. During my studies, I have researched the many different revision techniques and have adopted the most suitable one for me. This is important to understand as each student has their own studying preferences, hence I am able to offer personalised lessons to ensure each student reaches their maximum potential.

From my experience of tutoring, I understand it is essential to recap previous content covered in lessons to ensure understanding of the topics has been achieved. This is a great way to allow the students to ask any questions they may have. Content covered would generally mirror the content expected of students by the exam boards, however teaching is also available for any student requests, for example help in certain topic in Biology such as respiration.

As an online tutor, my teaching style is rooted in personalization, engagement, and adaptability. I believe that every student is unique, and my approach is tailored to meet each individual's specific needs and learning preferences. I place the student at the centre of the learning experience, meaning that I try to understand their strengths, weaknesses and goals in order to create a suitable learning plan that fits them best. I am adaptable and flexible in my teaching methods and continuously assess the students ability to ensure the strategies have been adjusted to achieve optimal learning and progress.
