I have a first class honours degree in chemistry and a PhD. After a successful career in industry, I trained as a teacher in 2009. Since then I have taught in both the private and state sector, most recently as Head of Chemistry in a high performing grammar school. Since 2011 I've been tutoring students 1:1 and in small groups and have supported students of all abilities to achieve their potential.

My tutoring style is highly interactive: I'll give some information input and then give you something to do. My aim is always to ensure a student achieves as detailed an understanding of a topic as possible and has an opportunity to deepen understanding and knowledge through appropriate exercises. You'll find me highly supportive and always seeking to ensure you achieve your potential. Chemistry is a wonderfully interesting subject and I aim to ensure you gain an appreciation of its central importance.
