I have a first class honours degree in chemistry and a PhD. After a successful career in industry, I trained as a teacher in 2009. Since then I have taught in both the private and state sector, most recently as Head of Chemistry in a high performing grammar school. Since 2011 I've been tutoring students 1:1 and in small groups and have supported students of all abilities to achieve their potential.

My tutoring style is highly interactive: I'll give some information input and then give you something to do. My aim is always to ensure a student achieves as detailed an understanding of a topic as possible and has an opportunity to deepen understanding and knowledge through appropriate exercises. You'll find me highly supportive and always seeking to ensure you achieve your potential.
