I am an experienced tutor with a master’s degree from Imperial College London in MRes Ecology, Evolution & Conservation. During my undergraduate Bsc Biology at the University of St Andrews I began tutoring and have now gained 5-years worth of online tutoring experience helping students.

I have tutored Biology and Chemistry, mainly for GCSE and A Level students, and covering a range of exam boards including AQA, CIE, Edexcel, OCR A, OCR B, and WJEC. Over my time, as a tutor, I have helped many students improve their grades, achieve places in their dream universities, and most importantly, improve their confidence in both them and their studies. Being able to help a student with their confidence is what I find to be the most rewarding part of being a tutor and remains a core focus for me. 

My lessons are completely personalised to the needs of my student. Before each lesson we will decide on a topic for the next lesson. During the lesson, I find the most effective use of time is to spend the first half revising the theory and reviewing any weak points in the topic, and using the remainder of the lesson to do past paper questions. However, if you feel you would benefit from a specific lesson structure or more/less review time, I am completely flexible as I want you to walk away feeling satisfied by the lesson.
