Maheen A.

Hi! My name is Maheen. I am a Psychology graduate with a passion for my subject! I have completed both my undergraduate and postgraduate in Psychology and have also recently graduated with my second postgraduate degree in Health Psychology.

I have tutored a number of students in the past three years in Sciences, English, Sociology and Psychology. I have experience teaching a number of different exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, Cambridge) and have also taught numerous university students too! Through my own educational experience over the years, I am confident I can provide the highest level of aid to my tutees. Having gone through the different processes myself, I can also help guide students on their academic journey!

MY SESSIONS

For my sessions, I start by talking to students and their parents to find out what exactly they aim to achieve. My lessons mainly consist of going through and teaching the preferred topics and then running through any questions or areas of difficulty, I then conduct a small quiz to make sure the lessons were understood well and then end off with a recap of what was learnt and the plan of the next lesson. Though this is an example plan of a lesson, I understand that some students may only be looking for other methods of teaching such as going through past papers, just teaching different topics or even tips for revision and preparation. I will make sure that all lessons are planned accordingly and cover whatever the student requires!
