I'm Liberty, I am currently a software engineering university student. I play hockey and I love to read in my down time. I've always had a love and aptitude for maths and sciences which has developed from "build your own solar farm sets" to building my own apps. I think communication and relationships are key to learning, humans thrive on social connection and I like to build this into my tutoring - it helped me improve when I was doing my exams and I wish to pass this on. In my experience, the hardest roadblock to overcome is not lack of understanding but lack of confidence in one's own abilities and so in my tutoring I aim to not only improve and provide pupils with a deeper understanding of their subject material but also with a greater confidence in their own abilities.

My sessions are heavily tailored to the student, I structure my sessions based on a student’s goals, needs and how they learn best. So a lesson for an A-level student looks very different from a lesson for a KS3 student.

For A-level and GCSE lessons I like to focus on exam questions as these not only allow students to improve their exam technique but also reveals gaps in their knowledge which we will then patch together. I have experience tutoring CIE, Edexcel, AQA AND CCEA.
