Hi, my name is Kieran. I am currently a 5th-year medical student at University College London.

I have also completed an integrated BSc as part of my Medicine course in Cardiovascular Science, where I achieved First Class Honours.

Whilst studying at school, I achieved 4A* grades at A Level as well as 10A*s at GCSE (seven grade 9s, two 8s, one A*, a 7 and a 6). I have provided tuition for over 4 years since I was in Year 13. I provided tuition in both AS and A level Biology and Chemistry initially, however, I have also gained significant experience tutoring at KS3 and GCSE Level for Triple Sciences, Combined Science and Maths, with many students receiving tuition in these over the past 4 years. I have built a significant platform with over 90,000 (@medwithkiri on TikTok), providing thousands of students across the UK with study advice.

I run my lessons very systematically however I'm always willing to adapt to a style that suits my students. Fundamentally, students who succeed in exams will be driven, have excellent subject knowledge and will have mastered exam technique. My lessons aim to provide students with the determination and confidence required to achieve top grades, in addition to a strong understanding of fundamental concepts in the subject, a strategic approach to revision and an ability to decipher the key components in a question to all them to obtain all the marks possible.

Typically I begin my lessons by establishing a student's current progress at school and attitudes to learning. My lessons are very student-centred, breaking down topics according to the exam board specification to determine what the student feels most uncomfortable with. Often I will give my students previous exam questions to find out how much subject content they know, before using worked examples to fill any gaps within their knowledge. Every step of the way through my lessons I interact and obtain feedback from my students to ensure they understand everything we discuss and I ensure my students attempt questions on their own to confirm this. I favour practice questions as this is vital for my students to develop good exam techniques and achieve the highest grades possible which I expect of my students.
