Hi, my name is Keeley Lee, I am from the North East of England and currently I am in my second year of my undergraduate Psychology degree with the Open University. 

I have been tutoring online since October 2022 and have completed over 1000 hours in that time, with students ranging from 4 years old up to 60 years old.

I have always had a huge passion for education and enjoy learning and helping others learn. I have had personal struggles with mental health conditions that have previously impacted my education as well as being autistic, therefore I am aware of the effects these things can have on people and take these into consideration with everything I do. I have tutored students with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia and Dysgraphia. I also have experience working with students whose first langugae is not English. 

Summer 2022 was my first year as a tutor with students sitting examinations, all of my students passed, got into their goal university and improved their grades with many achieving an A/A*. Around exam season, I make efforts to accomodate as many sessions as possible as lots of students increase their tution frequency around this time. I also work with students on targeted areas and practice possible/predicted questions. This was extremely useful in the summer, as many of the areas identified as likely to come up, did infact come up and students were well prepared for this. 

My tutoring style depends on the individual students need. I have students who enjoy more visual learning, so we do that and then others prefer more interactive work etc so I am happy to tailor my tutoring style for each student. 

I have a range of resources that I use, depending on what the student prefers. This includes written notes, powerpoints, tasks/worksheets and a collection of past exam questions and model answers. The written notes are in two formats, one is a longer, more detailed version and the second is a shorter, condensed version. The powerpoints have more visual content on and the tasks/worksheets are more interactive. Additionally, for revision I have summary powerpoints and knowledge organisers, which condense all content on one page.
