I have tutored GCSE English Literature and Language in a professional capacity for the last four years on a different platform, and love being able to bring an enjoyment of English to students. I have studied English Literature at degree level for the last five years, and love being able to bring in different pieces of expert knowledge. I work hard to tailor my lessons individually to each student, to ensure that they get the best out of our sessions. I am extremely passionate about English literature in particular, and love being able to work with a variety of texts. Outside of tutoring, I have working with arts and culture organisations and within higher education, and am a writer.

I tailor my lessons directly to my students. This results in varied lessons in which we can actually focus on what the student needs help with. We may spend some time working on exam technique, or considering how best to structure our analysis paragraphs. We can work through past papers and discuss answsers, or work though a particularly difficult part of one of the set texts. I enjoy being able to provide examples and work though varying tasks.
