I am a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Science tutor, focussed on helping students to have a positive educational experience. I have taught Science to Secondary aged pupils for over 20 years, and coached pupils that are struggling with aspects of Science to pass their exams and achieve their goals. I am also qualified to teach pupils with Specific Learning Difficulties and trained in academic performance coaching.  

My lessons are structured so that they are personalised, relatable and use guided practice to encourage my tutees towards independence. I use a variety of tools and resources to teach the concepts and ideas and to learn how to apply the Scientific knowledge when questioned. I am very focused on teaching pupils study skills, and ways of learning that can be applied across subject areas, tailored to meet the needs of the tutee.
