I have recently graduated in with an Msc Natural Sciences (Physics major with Chemistry) from the University of Bath, and am passionate about the sciences and mathematics. I believe that every student has the potential to achieve their targets, through a cooperation between tutor and student: we'll work hard, and find the right style that works for you :). In my spare time, I enjoy sport (mostly football) and also chess.

I think students learn best when they feel relaxed and comfortable to ask questions. Therefore, I like to start things off by getting students comfortable, maybe asking how their week was or something they enjoyed! From there, I usually like to quickly summarise what we went through in the last lesson, just to get us up to speed and then deliver a quick starter activity to get warmed up. When teaching content in lesson, my favourite things to use are analogies and exam questions, as well as a traffic light/face system to assess how well they're following. I believe that every student is different, but there will always be some combination of exam question practise, quick breaks and fruitful discussion!
