Hello, I'm Joe, and I'm currently in my fifth year studying Medicine at the University of Birmingham.

From my early years of tutoring during my first year of university, I've been dedicated to assisting GCSE and A-Level students in their exam preparations. With experience spanning from GCSEs to university level exams, I bring a wealth of knowledge in exam techniques to help students achieve their academic goals.

Staying on top of the latest changes in specifications and exam structures across various boards is a priority for me. This ensures that I can tailor each session to cater to the specific needs of your child.

My specialisation lies in supporting students who struggle with confidence, those with additional learning needs, and those aiming for top grades. I'm committed to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment to help each student thrive. Let's work together to unlock your child's full potential!

One of my students last year was working at a grade 3 in GCSE Biology when we first started lessons. In her summer exams she achieved a grade 7 after weekly sessions and practise with me and commitment from the student! Her parents left the following feeedback:

Our lessons will be entirely centred around what you as a student need to get the most out of our time- whether that's focusing on exam technique or reviewing content that you did not understand in lessons. I’m comfortable with a wide range of exam boards at both GCSE and A-Level meaning the content we do together will be specifically tailored towards your exams.

I understand, particularly for STEM subjects, the importance of using past paper questions when revising. It's a great way to familiarise yourself with content and the way mark schemes are written. I will often use these in my sessions as it helps you as a student work on your exam technique as well as test your knowledge.
