As a 3rd year dental student, I’ve developed and refined the most efficient ways to revise, and through my 2 years of professional experience as a tutor, I can say that I truly enjoy being able to help students reach their goals and gain confidence in their chosen subject. My first job was when I was 14, tutoring young children piano, up to grade 1. Then during sixth form, I tutored gcse students from my school, ranging from the sciences to maths. And finally, for the last 2 years I have been tutoring online, from KS2 and 11+ up to A-level.

Depends on the student, however I believe it’s important to gain knowledge and an understanding of the content whilst being asked smaller more specific questions. Equally as important, is the exam-approach, (focusing more on exam questions) and how to tackle different types of questions, as the best way to get better at something is to do it more. Some students require more of a visual approach e.g through diagrams, and others more practise.
