I offer effective tutoring from someone who understands the academic journey. I’m here to help students excel and enjoy A-Level Biology, GCSE Biology, and Chemistry. As I've just so recently been through the UK education system, I am able to closely relate to my students and their workload. Students can more often than not have issues finding that balance between work and play. Not only do I tutor the subject content itself, but I make effective revision plans with my students with their priorities and engagements at the forefront of my mind, whether it be an afterschool football club or a dance rehearsal, their wellbeing is something that I deeply care about. I am personally invested in the science and psychology behind learning effectively as well as a whole host of other things, like ways of thinking and the science of sleep. I work with my students closely and personally to instil those principals to make them a holistically better learner, equipped with the knowledge and skills they need so study their subjects at the highest level that they can. 

In a lesson with me, expect to see enthusiasm, solid subject knowledge and a whole variety of teaching methods. I keep a lot of random items on my desk with me at hand to explain concepts kinaesthetically and visually. Unfortunately, I am not so talented with singing myself, but know some great youtube videos in song form, that can engage that auditory part of my students brain. 

Every lesson, I set personalised homework that we will go through at the front end of our next one. Often, I will compile exam questions or ask my students to create a revision resource for a concept we have gone though, however as homework is completely personalised, the exact nature of the homework will depend on my student's personal circumstances.
