Hello, I’m George, I graduated from Oxford with a Master’s Degree in Physics this year. I have a passion for Physics, Maths and Teaching. At A-Level, I studied Maths, Further Maths and Physics. I have approximately 500 hours of tutoring experience in Maths and Physics at a range of levels including; GCSE, A-Level, IB, 11+, 13+, 16+, University Applications and 1st year degree.

I believe in a relatively relaxed style of tutoring, I aspire to help my students feel comfortable asking questions that they are not able to in school. By encouraging students to express their own thoughts, I am able to look at a problem from their point of view. For Maths and Physics, a great understanding of the fundamental principles is key. By making sure all of my students are completely happy with each topic, I make sure to give them the best chance of correctly answering questions. Exam practice is also crucial, especially for entrance exams. By practicing questions together and spending time on difficult problems, students build good techniques for answering all types of questions. My aim is to make exam questions have a ‘familiar’ feeling. While I do not put pressure on my students, I also have a big focus on performance. I understand that results matter and I always able to help students achieve higher scores.
