I am a highly experienced maths tutor with over 6 years of experience. Having achieved a First Class Honours degree in Maths, as well as A*s in Maths and Further Maths, I know exactly what it takes to excel in maths and get your targeted grades. 

While studying Maths at Imperial, I worked as an in-person tutor with a prestigious London agency and also taught online. Since 2020, I have tutored maths full-time to over 200 students, largely through online platforms. I have taught over 5000 hours of lessons, to students who are at different levels and have varied personalities, strengths and weaknesses. This means that I have been able to develop a very personalised approach to tutoring, adapting sessions to each student's needs, while also being knowledgable of common misunderstandings and difficult areas. 

I am able to tutor a wide age range of students, from KS3 all the way to A Level Further Maths (including statistics, mechanics, further pure, decision/discrete and more). I have tutored all the major exam boards in the UK, as well as international exam boards such as IB, CIE and Edexcel IAL/IGCSE. 

My passion has always been mathematics and I love to help students realise that they have more potential and ability than they previously thought. I believe anyone can succeed in maths with confidence, hard work and sometimes a helping hand!

I tutor mainly online, using Google Meet and an online whiteboard which both myself and students can write on. My tutoring approach is very interactive, with the sessions following a conversational format. I usually break down theory into no more than five minute chunks and then work with the student on questions of increasing difficulty, before moving to the next section of the material. I find this builds the student's confidence which keeps them progressing throughout the session. I avoid taking over when the student gets stuck as much as possible, instead asking a question to point them in the right direction or giving a small hint. At any point, the student can ask questions to fine tune their understanding.
