About Filip
I am a third year MD PhD student, studying Neuroengineering. I work on neural implants - specifically their interactions with the brain, making sure they cause no harm! This is part of the MD PhD course, and I have started this after studying undergraduate Medicine and some experience in Clinical School. When I finish my PhD, I plan to continue studying Clincial studies and work as a medical doctor!
Tutoring Style
I have taught over 400+ hours of Science A Level and GCSE as well as teaching third year undergraduates at University of Cambridge with excellent track record and reviews.
I like to adjust the style of teaching to the person - if your focus is doing well at exams I will be delighted to help, but if instead you would like to focus on learning much more about the subject it will be my pleasure to tell you about all the fascinating details! The usual way in which I run my lessons is that we would discuss the theory for a quarter of an hour, and then I will give you a selection of the most common exam questions. You try your hand at them and then we see the mark scheme together! In this way, you learn exactly where the marks come from and what to say to get them.
I also have experience teaching undergraduate engineering at Cambridge - I have ran supervisions for Bioengineering.
