Hi! I'm a software engineer with over 7 years of experience tutoring Computer Science, Maths, and Science. I've helped many students achieve their target grades and move on to success. I'm passionate about helping through tutoring and teaching. I took this passion further by working as an IT Lecturer, teaching BTEC IT to young and adult learners in a College. I had the opportunity to support SEND students both 1-on-1 and in a classroom setting. I excel at explaining difficult topics clearly and concisely during lessons. Ultimately, my goal is to help students achieve their academic goals and become confident, independent learners to help themselves.

At school, I discovered that practice is the key to success and makes exams much easier. Going into an exam with confidence helps you stay calm, perform better, and be happier with your final result. The most important thing, regardless of the grade, is to be able to say that you did your best.

With me, you'll learn how to learn and understand what truly matters. Exams often require you to memorise information, but this becomes much easier when you understand the topics from their roots and know why the answers are what they are, rather than just memorising blindly. This is what I strive to help students achieve.

Each lesson will allow students to grasp the topic at hand thoroughly and I also encourage students to ask questions about any topic from the syllabus. I will integrate comprehensive explanations with related topics to help students better understand and retain the material. We'll end each lesson with questions to reinforce their learning, and I'll provide revision notes at the end of each topic to encourage students to reflect on what we've learned a few days later. This approach is effective for long-term retention and better preparation for exams.
