Hello! I’m a passionate third-year Mathematics student at the University of Bristol. Over the past few years, I have successfully helped numerous students significantly boost their grades and gain confidence in Mathematics. I ensure my lessons are interactive and engaging, fostering an environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions and participate actively. This approach not only prepares students to tackle more challenging problems but also allows me to understand their thought processes, enabling us to collaboratively develop effective strategies for solving complex questions.

I start each first meeting by discussing goals and completing a baseline test to identify areas for improvement. We review the syllabus together, categorizing topics as Red (hard), Amber (medium), or Green (easy) to structure our lessons.

Each session begins by addressing any homework or class questions from the previous week. I like to integrate schoolwork with our lessons to reinforce concepts and build a solid understanding. We then review key concepts and tackle easier questions to build confidence. Once the basics are mastered, we move on to more challenging exam questions, working through them together, discussing the solutions, or having the student work independently, increasing difficulty as appropriate.

I plan lessons to stay flexible, allowing adjustments based on the student's progress. My passion for maths and teaching shines through, making lessons engaging and fun, and fostering a positive and motivating learning environment.
