I have a good knowledge and understanding of the entire A level and GCSE Maths Courses (AQA and Edexcel Exam Boards). As a young maths tutor I can empathize with current students as I have taken these exams recently myself.

My Experience:

I have over 150 hours online tutoring experience within the last year and I have recieved several 5 star reviews. During my time in sixth form I have volunteered to tutor a year 7 student, so I have experience tayloring my tuition to different levels of ability. I also assisted in a year 8 maths class to help students with their learning as well as being part of a maths support drop in session for younger students. When I was in year 11 I arranged sessions to help my friends revise for their GCSE maths exams.

I like to start my tutorials by determining the understanding my student has of the subject using a short assessment. This will allow me to tailor my teaching to your needs and cover any topics that you might be unsure on in more detail. I will give an explanation of the topic for that session then we will work through some example questions together. I believe that providing plenty of examples is the most effective way for students to learn, as well as making sure tutorials are interesting and engaging. To round off the tutorial I will put together a short assessment to see how your understanding of the topic has progressed.
