I have been a qualified teacher of Geography for the past 10 years and have had many successful cohorts of pupils many of whom have gained or surpassed their target grades. Many of my former students have gone on to university to study Geography at universities all over the country.

In my teaching career, I was an assistant faculty leader for Humanities and a professional mentor for trainees and new teachers.

I have taught using the AQA exam board for both GCSE and A-Level Geography and guided pupils through their courses including content and exam technique. I have also supervised many pupils' NEAs.

I like to use up-to-date case studies to back up theory for all the units studied.

This year alongside tutoring I will be the Geography subject lead for 2 teacher training providers.

This year I also ran a 2 day A level booster course for Y12 students for PMT which gained excellent feedback and helped the pupils recap their first year of A Level and prepare for end of year examinations

My tutoring style is tutee-led. I am happy to allow the tutee to choose the topic we are covering and I will plan for your needs.

The sessions will be a mix of knowledge sharing, and questioning and will finish with some examination practice.

I am very passionate about my subject and like to share this with my pupils and tutees.
