I have a Degree in Engineering Science from St. Catherine's College, Oxford and a Degree in Mathematics from the Open University. I have tutored both Maths and Physics up to 'A' level and beyond for over 5 years. I am a friendly and supportive person who gets excellent results by making lessons fun as well as informative. I pride myself on my thorough preparation and my patient, friendly, inclusive approach to teaching and nothing gives me greater satisfaction than seeing students of all ages enjoying the subjects I teach and achieving their full potential. Student participation and interaction is key. Everyone learns differently so it is vitally important to understand individual learning styles and to adapt the tutoring accordingly. The vast majority of my students attend either school or college. The focus of my tutorials is often, therefore, reinforcement of what has already been learnt and the application and scrutiny of this knowledge through solving past exam questions.
