Hi there! I'm Bill - I'm an early career researcher currently studying towards a PhD in Physics. I have been tutoring for five years and have amassed over 3000 lessons of experience.


To me, Maths is the language of the universe, and Physics is the way we string Maths into meaningful sentences - I would love to help you discover and explore this language! With bite-sized chunks (and a bit of perseverance) even the most complex ideas can be made manageable!


Being only a few years out of A-levels I am still very in-touch with the system and can offer plenty of up-to-date relevant information to help you smash your next set of exams.

I strongly believe in a practical approach to learning Maths and Physics - answering questions are a great way to get instant feedback on your understanding, and can really help guide your practice. I aim to place a large focus on choosing questions that are *just* outside of a student's comfort zone to help push the boundaries of understanding, whilst also building confidence of the material they are currently tackling.
