Hello! I'm Bethan and I'm currently studying Natural Sciences at the University of Birmingham. I have been a tutor for 3 years, so I'm very aware that my lessons should be enjoyable as well as informative. I love to involve different revision methods such as blurting and mnemonics in my classes, to break down content-heavy subjects such as Chemistry. One of the most important aspects of our learning is practicing our knowledge, so I will make sure to include multiple choice questions and past paper questions to solidify our knowledge and to ensure that we know what the examiners are looking for. As I recently completed my Chemistry (AQA) A Levels, I am very familiar with the curriculum and I know what it takes to succeed. I am a confident and patient teacher, and I am passionate about educating young people, so they can achieve their full potential

My tutoring style changes depending on the student, but I typically follow a 50:50 strucure of content and past paper questions. I understand the importance of engaging content, so I usually break up teaching with videos, quizzes and exercises to improve focus and retention.
