Hello! I'm Ben, a passionate and dedicated Science teacher specialising in Biology and Physics. I also have the role of Assistant SENCO in my school, where I manage and coordinate support for students with special educational needs. This role involves implementing targeted interventions, liaising with parents and staff, and ensuring compliance with educational policies to help every student reach their potential.

As an enthusiastic teacher, my goal is to inspire students to reach their full potential and excel in their exams. I hold a first-class honours degree in Sport and Exercise Science, specialising in human biology and biomechanics. My tutoring journey began during my PGCE year, where I worked closely with students, simplifying complex topics and helping them deepen their understanding to achieve academic success.

My tutoring style is centred around tailoring each session to the specific needs and learning preferences. At the start, I will assess pupils' current knowledge and understanding of a subject or topic in question, identifying areas of strengths and weaknesses. This allows me to then subsequently create personalised lesson plans that address your challenges. 

I use a patient and encouraging approach, creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring concepts at their own pace. My ultimate goal is to help my students build a solid foundation of knowledge which will enable them to achieve academic success.
