You and I will work together in order to achieve your goals realistically and I will push you in order to get the best possible grade. I am prepared to remain committed and patient, as I was not long ago, in the same position! I have had over four years of experience so can best tailor the lesson to you and whatever specification you take.

My sessions tend to be interactive and engaging. I like to make sure the focus is on the student. This means that rather than just being given what to memorise for the exam, you/your child will be going above and beyond in order to reach the answers themselves, in a tutorial-style format and through this they will have a complete and semantic understanding. This will make it naturally easier to recall since you know the reasoning behind whatever concept it may be. I am prepared to be versatile also and adapt my teaching style per you and how you learn best! I will teach exam techniques and tricks that would be useful, as well as, fostering a positive environment at all times where it will be a safe space to make mistakes and most importantly reflect on them and learn from them. I am also DBS checked. I am also open to doing mock interviews for biology at Oxbridge.
