Maths A Level Easter Revision Course – Online

Course Information

Course Description

These four-day Pure and one-day Statistics and Mechanics Easter crash courses take place entirely online. Designed to prepare Year 13 students for their final exams, they’re taught by experienced maths teachers who understand the knowledge and skills required to secure a top grade.

During both courses, students will revisit key areas of study, strengthening their knowledge and mathematical skills while identifying and improving any weaker areas.

Our teachers will also work with students on their exam technique using past paper questions. While the topics covered in A Level Maths are universal across all exam boards, we use past papers from Edexcel for this part of the course. You can get an idea of how they present questions here.

In addition to our online classes, students will receive additional support with a physical package of high-quality revision materials. Professionally printed and bound, our tailor-made resources have been designed to make revision simple and digestible, both during and after the course.

Our Easter crash courses are a great way to take revision up a notch, giving students the knowledge, skills and confidence to succeed in their summer exams.

Suitable for:

  • Year 13 students
  • Students wanting to revise content
  • Students looking to improve exam technique
  • Year 12 students
  • Students working at a grade D or below

If you need help deciding if you will benefit from this course you can contact us. Alternatively, you may prefer to book 1-2-1 tuition instead.

Pete graduated from the University of Warwick with a BSc in Pure Mathematics before completing his PGCE at Cambridge University. After a spell working in a top-achieving secondary school in London, he returned to Cambridge to take a Master of Education in Politics, Development and Democratic Education, which he completed with a distinction. His chosen thesis topic concerned whether teaching and learning mathematics could aid the development of civic virtue.

Pete has now taught A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics both privately and in sixth form colleges for over 15 years. During this time, he’s delivered numerous week-long international masterclass courses to other maths teachers at the request of the University of Warwick – so he certainly knows his stuff!

Today his teaching experience spans a whopping 38 years.

Paul believes that teaching is what he was made for and despite taking formal retirement, education is still very much his passion. After retiring, he continued working, training new teachers, before becoming an online tutor during the Covid-19 pandemic. These days he tutors both individuals and small classes, using his vast wealth of knowledge and experience to help his students succeed. When he’s not teaching, Paul chairs a theological discussion group for adults and likes to try his hand at DIY (to varying degrees of success).
