Our A Level Geography crash courses are tailored to the specifications of the AQA and Edexcel exam boards, ensuring you’ll cover all the key topics likely to come up in your papers. Depending on the time of year and exam board, course content may include:

  • Tectonics and Hazards – Plate tectonics, hazards, disasters and vulnerability, volcanic and seismic hazards, management and mitigation of hazards
  • Coasts – The coastal system, sources of energy, feedback loops, marine process, landforms and landscapes, risks to coastal environments and coastal management
  • The Water Cycle – The hydrological cycle local to global scale, drainage basins and water budgets, interpreting storm hydrographs, water insecurity and global implications

Our online revision courses take place within Google Classroom, keeping everything organised in one convenient hub. From here, you’ll be able to access digital copies of our bespoke course resources and join the live lessons. All our lessons are recorded and saved in the classroom allowing you to watch them back for a recap whenever you like. Any resources your tutor uses can also be added to the classroom for you to use for your revision.

The live lessons take place using Google Meet. During the lessons, our tutors use the latest iPads and touch screen devices to replicate a real classroom environment. They can use teaching aids such as Powerpoints and a high-quality online whiteboard. Students can interact throughout the course using their microphones and the chat function.

After becoming a qualified teacher in 2012, David spent 10 years teaching the AQA geography syllabus to GCSE and A Level students. During this time, he gained an excellent track record for helping pupils hit their target grades, with many of them going on to study geography at university level.

David’s academic credentials also include working as an assistant faculty leader for the humanities, and as a professional mentor for new and trainee teachers. Alongside teaching, David has also been involved with the supervision and guidance of NEAs, including the facilitation of fieldwork required for NEA inquiries.
