Our two-day online GCSE Chemistry refresher course is designed for soon-to-be Year 11 students.
During the two days, students will revisit the key topics they learnt about during Year 10, enabling them to solidify their existing knowledge and fill in any gaps in their understanding. The course content is aligned with the AQA specification however students studying for a different exam board can still participate in this course since it isn’t exam-focused.
As an accompaniment to the online classes, students will also receive a physical package of our tailor-made revision materials to assist them during and after the course. Professionally printed and bound, these high-quality resources are designed to make studying as digestible as possible.
Helping to develop the confidence and skills to succeed, our refresher courses are an excellent way to prepare students for the final year of their GCSEs.

Rob graduated from the University of Southampton with a first-class master’s degree in Chemistry. He has been teaching for over six years and currently serves as the head of chemistry at a large secondary school in Hampshire. He’s been teaching the subject at A Level for his entire career, giving him a thorough knowledge of OCR exam board specifications.
Rob is passionate about his subject, in particular, organic chemistry and how it provides a toolkit to synthesise medicines and materials that shape our lives today and in the future. His teaching style focuses on the importance of precision of knowledge and helping his students develop context-based understanding and application skills using past paper questions. When he’s not teaching or tutoring GCSE, IGCSE and A Level Chemistry students, Rob enjoys taking to the stage in plays and musicals across the south coast.
Will is an enthusiastic and experienced maths and science tutor who graduated from Durham University with a master’s in Chemistry. He has been tutoring ever since and, with thousands of hours of tuition under his belt, has amassed a diverse client base, as well as leading a number of revision workshops. He has experience tutoring students in preparation for entrance exams into the UK’s top independent and grammar schools (11+ and 13+) as well as IB, GCSE and A Level (specialising in the AQA, OCR and Edexcel exam boards).
Will believes that to do well in science and maths exams, students must have a thorough understanding of the fundamental principles to establish strong foundations. Under his guidance, students can develop their understanding of scientific theory through a series of logical steps built upon these foundations. Will also ensures that his sessions provide plenty of exam technique practice, ensuring students are able to apply each concept to exam-style questions and develop the skills to break down the question and understand the root of what it is asking.
If you would like 1-2-1 tuition with Will, you can find his profile on our tuition platform.
